Sabin Sharpe Sings On Drunk Texts and Regrets in "The Whiskey Must Be Talkin'"

Sabin Sharpe speaks on drunk texts from his ex in his newest release, “Must Be The Whiskey Talkin.'"

The South Carolina native transcribes his own experiences by revealing, “I wrote this song about an ex who would say she hated me when she was sober, but I knew she was drinking when I received the ‘come over’ text.” “‘Must Be the Whiskey Talkin’’ is a booty call song about that ex that always hits you up when they’re drinking,” confesses Sharpe.

Sharpe, who was backwoods born and raise, writes music through his authentic country lens. The Nashville recording artist has a rowdy edge that illuminates on-stage turning listeners into fans. Sharpe has opened for Colt Ford, Josh Turner, Easton Corbin and more - which is just the beginning for the eager artist.
